Oh Jenni, you're so sweet! Thank you so much for reading this and for your kind words! You're so funny. I should be grateful the ads aren't worse -- for a while there it was all "fix your jowls with this miracle cream!" :)

When you do standup in S. California let me know! 😉 I did some acting classes years ago for similar reasons. 65% less afraid in front of people not so much. Maybe 20. 😊

You're so funny! People say acting and comedy go hand-in-hand! I am completely in awe of actors who can memorize hours-worth of dialogue. I will definitely keep you posted if I make it beyond the teahouse circuit😂!

I think perhaps lots of people decide to try standup after seeing a not-very-funny comedian. That’s how I was convinced to give it a try too!

Yes, I totally agree! It removes a little bit of the intimidation factor. Then, on the flip side, I watch some comedians and think, "Wow, I have no business even attempting this 😂." Best of luck!

Ah, Andrew, you're too kind! Thanks for reading this. Standup has been a fun change of pace! And the other thing I love is meeting a lot of people who can laugh at themselves. Speaking of, I have to leave a comment on your most recent newsletter. I've been guilty of driving on a flat while engaging in a bit of "this isn't happening" wishful thinking. So glad you made it to the game!!
