Liz, this was such an enjoyable post. I loved reading about where others write, and I loved the photos. I do my best work sitting at my desk which is placed in front of a large window. I gaze at the vineyards, clouds, little birds hopping around, and beautiful oak trees. Having the window open is an added bonus ☺️
I love this idea! Thank you all for sharing your spaces! The best part about WFH is getting to see the inside of people’s houses so this post is right up my ally. 🧐👀
Love this glimpse into writers' workspaces, Liz! That office in France looks so dreamy. And I'm adding that boulangerie in Cambridge to my list; I've never been!
Oh, I'm excited that you'll check it out (and I'll keep an eye out for your review in your newsletter :) ) That room in France was heaven but I barely wrote a word because I just wanted to see (and eat) everything. I was above a restaurant and the scents were mouthwatering!
This was so much fun, Liz! I'm always, always, always curious about where other people write. I appreciate seeing the real spaces. I get so annoyed/dubious/jealous-even-though-I-shouldn't-be when I see 'office spaces' that manage to have no cords. Well done!
Hi Kelly, thanks so much! Yes, I wish I could've asked every writer I know to share their favorite space! I love looking at home offices--and don't get me started on window seats or breakfast nooks! :) I think all my cords are tucked behind that pink chair, but thank you! :)
Yes - window seats! I’m a big fan of a bench in general. I didn’t mean to imply I’m dubious about - your - cords. All my side eye is directed at say, Real Simple. ;)
I love the variety of writing places and styles!
Thanks so much for reading it, Leslie! I loved seeing all these spaces too. I'm so fortunate to have generous friends willing to share!

Hi Natalie! Thanks so much for reading! Your view sounds spectacular! If I do a part two, I will definitely reach out to you! 💕💕

Ha! Yes, I totally agree -- and their pets! Thanks for reading it!!

I love benches too! Oh, I know, too much “aspirational” living. I’m just lucky on the days when I can find a pen! :)
